Our History
The activities of this organisation were briefly interrupted due to the outbreak of World War II, during which Singapore was occupied by the Imperial Japanese Army. They discouraged organisations from operating because they feared they would be influential in opposing against the Imperial Japanese Army administration at that time. After World War II ended during 1945, the Imperial Japanese Army left Singapore and thus was overtaken by the British colonialists in 1946, the organisation was re-established and continued its activities that was interrupted. This time, the organisation is opening its doors to all Muslims throughout Singapore to join in as members.









About Our Organization
Persekutuan Kebajikan Islam Telok Kurau Singapura was established in 1941 and initially aimed to provide funeral services and assistance to Muslims living in Telok Kurau area and nearby districts in the event of a death in the family of residents of the district.
Registered Members to Date
To date, the Mutual Benefit Organisation managed to garner more than 18,000 registered members in history. This Mutual Benefit Organisation was managed by a team of committee members which will be elected during the Annual General Meeting.
